welcome to our "Palatina Living" vacation apartment! We are very pleased that you have decided to stay with us and wish you an unforgettable and relaxing time.

Our primary goal is to provide you with a relaxed and carefree atmosphere. To ensure that this can always be guaranteed, we would like to ask you to familiarize yourself with our house rules. With your booking you agree to accept the house rules and ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with them. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Arrival and departure

To ensure that your vacation apartment is optimally prepared and that you have a pleasant stay, check-in is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival.

On the day of departure we ask you to leave the accommodation no later than 10:00 and leave it in a proper condition. We would like to help you make this process as smooth as possible. We ask you to take care of the following items before your departure:

  • Please empty the refrigerator.

  • Clean the dishes and return them dry to their place.

  • Please dispose of all leftover food and throw your household waste in the bins provided.

  • We kindly ask our guests to remove obvious dirt, such as coarse soiling and leftover food, and to wipe up any spilled liquids.

  • Remember to turn off all electrical appliances (except the refrigerator).

  • Make sure that all doors are properly locked.

  • Please return the keys to the key box.

Key

Upon arrival you will receive two keys for the apartment. You can conveniently take these from our key box, which is located directly at the accommodation. The key box is secured with an individual access code that is generated especially for you. One day before your arrival you will receive an email containing a detailed description and providing your access code for check-in.

Please put the keys back in the key box for your departure. One day before your departure day you will receive an email again containing your access code.

Please note that different access codes must be used for both check-in and check-out and that only the corresponding access code is valid.

Please keep the keys safe at all times and do not give them out of your hand. However, if you lose the keys, please inform us immediately. In this case, you as the tenant are liable for the costs incurred.

Parking

Four spacious parking spaces are available for our guests directly in front of the vacation home. If the parking spaces in front of the house are occupied, it is possible to park on the roadside.

Please note that we as the landlord cannot accept any liability for your vehicle and its contents.

Rest periods

We ask our guests to respect the public rest periods such as the noon and Sunday rest to ensure a pleasant atmosphere. The midday rest extends from 13:00 to 15:00. In addition, out of consideration and in the interest of a friendly neighborhood, we ask that a night's rest be observed between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in our vacation apartment or in the entire building. An ashtray is available in the outdoor area of each vacation apartment. Please dispose of completely cooled cigarette remains in the residual waste. If there are any burn marks or holes, please inform us immediately.

Internet

We are pleased to provide you with free internet access in our vacation apartment. You will find the access code for this in the guest folder, which is ready for you in the vacation apartment. Please note that the use of the internet access is at your own responsibility. As the landlord, we assume no liability for your activities on the Internet. You are obliged to comply with the applicable law when using the WLAN.

Dogs

Bringing dogs in our apartment is allowed after prior consultation and registration. We are happy about your four-legged companion! However, we kindly ask that your dog stays away from furniture such as sofas or beds to avoid damage. Please clean up any mess caused by your pet.

The terrace is a common area for all guests of our apartments. Out of consideration for all guests, we ask not to bring dogs on the terrace. Thank you for your understanding!

Video surveillance

To ensure security, the following areas are under video surveillance. Of course, no personal data is stored in this process:

  • The entrance to the house

  • The backdoors (The lounging and sitting areas are excluded from the video surveillance).

Events and parties

Please note that no major events or parties are allowed in our apartment.

Waste separation and disposal

We attach great importance to waste separation and would like to ask you to pay attention to this also in our vacation apartment. There are various disposal options available to you so that you can dispose of organic waste, paper, plastic, residual waste and glass separately.

Please never throw food scraps, trash or hygiene items down the toilet or other drains. Instead, we ask you to dispose of your trash exclusively in the bins provided. The garbage cans for residual waste, paper, “yellow bag” and organic waste are located in front of the house. You will find a container for used glass in the bicycle cellar.

Thank you for your cooperation in the separation of waste and for helping us to keep our apartment clean and environmentally friendly!

Security

For security reasons, we ask that you keep all entrance doors to the apartment closed at all times. When leaving the house, it is important to lock all entrance doors with the key for additional protection. We also recommend keeping windows closed when leaving the vacation home. In the interest of fire safety, please ensure that escape routes are clear at all times and are not blocked. Please turn off heating, lights and other devices unless they are needed. This also applies to electrical appliances.

Airing

We recommend that you air the premises for at least 10 minutes every day to effectively prevent mold growth. Please remember to turn off the heating while you have the window open.

Water quality

To ensure that the water in the accommodation is of the best quality, we recommend that you run the hot and cold water on all taps for a few seconds before using it for the first time. This will ensure that you can enjoy clean and fresh water.

Cleaning

During your stay you are responsible for the cleaning of the vacation apartment. To make the cleaning work easier for you, suitable cleaning equipment is available in the vacation apartment. We ask for your understanding and support in the cleanliness and care of the vacation apartment.

Outdoor area/terrace

As guests of our vacation apartment, you have access to the spacious terrace of our vacation home. When you are to the right of the building, a path leads downstairs. After a few meters you will find access to the terrace on the left.

There is a garden shed at the back of the terrace. On the left-hand side of the garden shed there are comfortable deckchairs for you to use as you wish. There is also a comfortable seating island for you to relax on. Please remember to put the sun loungers back in the garden house after use and protect the seating island with the tarpaulin.

There is also a covered seating area at the back of the terrace with seating for up to 12 people. It is also possible to barbecue here. Further information can be found in the “Barbecue” section.

To ensure your safety and avoid possible damage, we would ask you to store all outdoor objects such as deckchairs or similar in the storage room provided in strong winds or overnight.

Robot mower

In order to keep our lawn well maintained at all times, our friendly robot mower called “Robbi” takes over the regular lawn care. We have deliberately limited the mowing times to the morning hours and kept them short to minimize possible disruptions.

Robbi is on duty every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 08:00 and 11:00.

Bicycle cellar

In the cottage you will find a cellar where you can safely store your bikes. You will also find sockets where you can charge your e-bikes for free.

The entrance to the bike cellar is at the back of the building. Just walk down the path to the right of the building. After a few meters you will see the entrance to the terrace on the left side. On the opposite side of the terrace, there are two white doors on the left. The door to the bicycle cellar is marked with a sign.

You can conveniently open the bicycle cellar with your apartment keys. Please remember to lock the door again when leaving the bike cellar to ensure the safety of your bikes.

Barbecue

You can barbecue in the rear area of the terrace. A barbecue is available for this purpose. We would ask you to be careful when barbecuing and to treat both the barbecue and the covered seating area with care. Please leave everything in a tidy condition so that other guests can also enjoy this area.

As barbecue preferences can be very individual, we would ask you to bring your own charcoal or briquettes.

We also ask you to observe the following when barbecuing:

  • To prevent smoke from entering the living area, please keep all windows and doors closed while barbecuing.

  • Barbecue utensils (barbecue tongs, turner, gloves) are available for you to use. Please make sure you clean them properly after use and put them back so that other guests can also use them.

  • Please allow the ash and charcoal residue to cool down completely and then dispose of it only in the ash bin provided. Please do not dispose of ash in the conventional waste garbage can.

  • To allow the charcoal to cool down more quickly, we recommend closing the air supply and the lid of the barbecue.

  • A cover is available for the barbecue. Please allow the barbecue to cool down completely and then cover it with the hood. This way we can ensure that the barbecue is protected from the weather and that future guests will also enjoy it.

  • A fire extinguisher is available in the garden shed opposite the barbecue area in case of an emergency.

Fire

Unfortunately, it is not permitted to light open fires.

For safety reasons, it is not permitted to use the wood-burning stoves in apartments 1 and 2.

Damage

Please inform us immediately about any possible damage that occurred during your stay in the apartment. If the damage is minor, such as a broken drinking glass, we as the landlord will pay for the replacement. For larger damages to the equipment or the vacation apartment, however, you as the tenant are liable yourself.
